STEAM Robotics

What is it?

Robots are basically programmable devices that can replace humans in performing variety of tasks by executing the input commands. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering Art, & Mathematics. STEAM Robotics is all about teaching students of different grades to apply their skills in STEAM in Robotics so they have hands-on experience of making robots.

Why STEAM Robotics is important for children?

• According to reports, Technology is about to replace around 65 million jobs in North America alone in the next 17 years, so you can imagine what's going to happen to the rest of the world. But there will again be millions of new jobs that would be created in the same time period. The reality we should face is that most of such jobs will be reserved for candidates who have commendable STEAM skills and knowledge in Robotics.
• It took about 30 years since the advent of computers where computer literacy was required for significant number of jobs. In less than ten years, Robotics will go through the same phase. Sadly, Robotics is either not included in the curriculum or is included as a club activity where only 2% of the students enroll. If we come to a realization that Robotics is the future and only 2 percent of upcoming graduates will have any knowledge about it, we are basically ignoring that 98 percent of students will be out there lacking the primary skill requisite of jobs.

Aero modeling

There has been no child who hasn't dreamt of flying. However, only those who take up aeronautics ever get to learn the aerodynamics of flying. With our Aero modeling program, children can now build prototypes of aero planes while being in their schools.

INTERNET OF THINGS (IoT)

Most of our electronic devices are already being adapted to IoT and the next big thing is already here! IoT is basically network of physical devices and electronic devices linked with softwares, sensors so that the devices can be controlled by a tap on your smart phones. And with Acthive, school students can learn the fundamentals of it even before engineering students are exposed to it!

Life skills

While technical knowledge of the career choice is required, it is also important that students grow holistically in terms of personality, character and morals. Our Life skills programs are equally balanced with the quality of technical education we impart to students. In out workshops, we help students discover their inner self, positivity through which they grow up to be confident in their skin.

Play home

We have a unique concept for Play-home, it is an exciting and fun filled activity based learning for kids. The concepts are hands on learning to build confidence within the child. Every Child who takes learning skills from Silicon Education can gain knowledge in a fun filled environment and for an overall child development. Areas like language, physical, cognitive, social, emotional, motor and creativity skills will be taught one on one with a systematic creative and a scientific lesson plans which will long last.

3 D printing

This is one of the quint essential program for today’s school children for improving their creativity and intellectual abilities. This is like any other printer students can be innovative and bring out better ideas which will make their learning process for their future career and open up thinking out of the box. Here every student will learn programing and assembling the 3 D Printer spares and also able to print anything they desire for their project.
